Overheard after class
A conversation between two British students who were leaving the lecture hall behind me:
"Do you want to go and get lunch?"
"Uh, not today. I think I'll just get some Ramen."
"Some what?"
"Ramen. You don't know what that is?"
"No."
"It's sort of a stringy noodle -- you just boil it and pour chicken flavor over it."
"Ah, so kind of an instant soup?"
"Right."
Ramen: feeding thrifty college students worldwide.
"Do you want to go and get lunch?"
